Join Lynchburg Cru for our biggest event of the semester, Fall Retreat! The retreat is centered around growing closer as a community and connecting deeply with God. Enjoy the vast outdoor opportunities at Camp Watermarks during free-time: fun by the lake, a massive corn maze, escape room, High/Low Ropes course, rock climbing wall and so much more! We will also have a talent show, bonfire, messages by our speaker Mike Bost and opportunities to hear about Cru Global Missions opportunities!
DATES: Friday September 29th at 7:00pm – Sunday October 1st at 11:00am
LOCATION: Watermarks Camp: 1145 James River Rd, Scottsville, VA 24590
We will be staying in separate cabins for men and women. All have electricity, bathrooms with showers and plenty of beds.
RIDES: Rides will be organized by Cru staff. Please indicate if you can drive when you register.
WHAT TO BRING: Bible, athletic shoes, light jacket, clothes, toiletries, sleeping bag or sheets and blanket, pillow, money for snack bar
SPEAKER: MIKE BOST, National Field Director for Cru
Mike is graduate of Oklahoma State where he majored in mechanical engineering. He also has an MDiv from Gordon Conwell Seminary. Mike is married to Michelle and they have 4 children. Mike and Michelle have both been on staff for 30 years.
Fun fact, at 50 years old Mike can still dunk a basketball with authority! He’s also a great all around athlete and will likely be playing sports during free time!
COST
The cost is $100 which include lodging and 4 meals. But there are great discounts this year for everyone:
So if you register by 9/15 and it is your first time attending, the cost is just $40!!!
